Youth Opening – Sophia Genereux
Join us Thursday June 11th from 6-8pm for the opening night of Youth Artist Sophia Generoux. We’ll have light refreshments and nibbles as you peruse her works.
As a sophomore in high school, I have been further developing my artistic voice and style in art classes. My focus for this exhibition was to tackle new subject matter, like landscapes and birds, and to render images more simplistically. Less blending and more block-style shading is what I have been trying to achieve, and slowly that’s beginning to take shape. I’m excited for what comes next!!
